well, hello there

Hey RC (aka 'Stache Rabbit),

I got your voicemail message, thanks! This semester's schedule is so tough, what with my school days going until 6pm ET. Since that's midnight your time, it's too bad we'd have to deprive ourselves of sleep to talk via Skype. Not that I usually have any trouble staying up til 2am so I can talk to you in the morning, but I've got to get myself on a better sleep schedule. I was fighting to stay awake during my Textile Fundamentals class today; I haven't had that happen since college, when I would without fail fall asleep during my economics lecture.

I do have getting up down to a formula now, though, after that first disastrous day where I slept through my first class. If I leave the house at exactly 8:30am, I have time to stop at my locker and even pick up a hot drink before my 9:10am class. Last semester, the professors seemed more mellow, and I could saunter into my studio classes at 9:30am, even closer to 10am. I was so spoiled ... As for sleeping through the alarm, I discovered that if I set your alarm clock -- the really loud one -- to radio, I *bolt* out of bed to silence the annoying morning show hosts.

Hey, have you been watching "Project Runway" online? Or "Make Me a Supermodel"? In the last episode of the modeling show, the contestants walked in two runway shows for NY Fashion Week. One of the designers was Jerry Tam, Brian's friend from SF, showing his "Form New York" fashion line. He gave his thoughts about the models and everything. So funny.

Anyway, I love you, I miss you, I'm thinking of you.

Charlene

p.s. er, if you haven't arranged for my "surprise" V-Day flowers yet, American Airlines is offering 25 miles per dollar! " Visit www.1800flowers.com/aa or call 1-800-FLOWERS (1-800-356-9377). Mention promotion code AALV2 and your AAdvantage number (09U4A44) when ordering to earn 25 miles per dollar spent!" If you have, no worries -- I am proud of you for being so on top of things and look forward to being surprised! ;)
