I may be an urban elitist (I have become more of one living here, I think), but I don't think I'm unreasonable. I thought about it some more and now think that the summer months in a different place in the US wouldn't be bad – as long as it is a real summer (SF would take a lot of convincing). Chicago, Boston, or even somewhere in Europe but closer to the bigger cities. For both of us. I didn't mean to suggest that we should narrow our options.
I made a list of some possible companies last night, and want to figure out my portfolio plans this week so I can start putting it together and sending out some emails by the end of the month.
The place in Portugal looks nice, and I commend your veto on chinese taco pizzas!
